This course names it. Maps it. And teaches you to navigate it — with precision and with integrity. It is the intelligence layer of power and influence.

"Power in organizations rarely lives where the org chart says it does. The professionals who rise are not the ones who work hardest — they are the ones who can read the room the rest cannot see."

MODULES.
01
Module 1 · Session 1
The Reality of Power
& Influence
Before any framework, a fundamental reframe: power in organizations rarely lives where it is supposed to. This module dismantles the assumption that titles determine outcomes and shows you where influence actually originates.

Every organization runs on five invisible currencies. Understanding which ones you hold and which your colleagues hold — changes every interaction.

⚙️
Type 1
Contextual
Deep knowledge of how this specific system works — its history, its informal rules, its rhythm
💎
Type 2
Scarcity
Expertise or access that is rare and genuinely difficult to replace in a crisis
🚪
Type 3
Gatekeeping
Control over who gets information, access, or visibility at critical moments
🎯
Type 4
Discretionary
The ability to choose how — or whether — to apply effort, expertise, or endorsement
🤝
Type 5
Relational
Trust built over time through consistency, follow-through, and genuine care for others

The critical insight: most early-career professionals believe they hold only Scarcity power — their domain expertise. This module shows you how to begin building the other four — quietly, systematically, without anyone accusing you of "playing politics."

02
Module 2 · Session 1
Reading the Room:
Hidden Power Networks
In 87% of organizations, the people with the most real influence do not appear on the org chart. This module teaches you to see the Map 2 — the shadow hierarchy that sits beneath every formal structure and to navigate it with awareness and integrity.
The Org Chart

Reporting lines. Job titles. Formal hierarchies. Useful for understanding accountability — almost useless for understanding how decisions are actually made and information actually flows.

The Influence Map

Trust networks. Information flows. Who people actually go to when the stakes are high. Whose opinion moves the room. This is where careers are decided. This module teaches you to draw it.

They don't announce themselves. The room moves around them. This course teaches you to identify all five and to understand which one you naturally are.

🔗
Type 01
The Connector
Knows people across teams, levels, and locations. Creates belonging and relational glue. When they speak, the room already trusts them.
Influence source: Belonging & relationship equity
🧩
Type 02
The Interpreter
Makes confusion clear. Frames the room. When complexity stalls a meeting, they translate it into something everyone can act on.
Influence source: Clarity & framing power
Type 03
The Stabilizer
Calm when others panic. The emotional anchor. When deadlines tighten and tempers rise, they don't escalate — they steady the room.
Influence source: Emotional regulation (Edmondson)
🚦
Type 04
The Gatekeeper
Controls when information flows — not just what flows. Everyone checks with them before presenting to leadership.
Influence source: Timing, context & access
🌉
Type 05
The Bridge
Sits at intersections of teams, roles, and disciplines. Translates priorities across worlds. Aligns where others create friction.
Influence source: Structural holes (Ron Burt)
03
Module 3 · Session 2
The Manager's
Lens
Your manager is not ignoring you. They are triaging. These are not the same thing. This module gives you the mental model your manager is using to evaluate you — most of it silently, most of it before the first formal review.
What you THINK they measure
What they ACTUALLY measure
Brilliance
Consistency
Enthusiasm
Clarity
Long hours
Follow-through
Technical skill
Predictability
Hard work
Uncertainty reduction

Managers don't promote talent. They promote trust. Trust is evaluated on exactly three dimensions and most of them are invisible until you know what to look for.

1
Dependability
"Can I assign this and not worry?"
Clarity of understanding before starting. Early previews, not surprises. Closed loops. Calm under pressure. Communicates delays before they become problems.
2
Relational Intelligence
"Do conflicts get lighter or heavier around them?"
How they navigate team friction under pressure. Whether they reduce cognitive and emotional load on the manager — or add to it.
3
System Fit
"Do they adapt to our rhythm?"
The invisible alignment with the team's pace, communication style, and operating expectations — before anyone has said them out loud.
04
Module 4 · Session 2
The Power of Peers
& Network
Reputation spreads laterally before it spreads upward. Your peers see your work in real time — under pressure, in ambiguity, in the moments nobody writes up. They form their opinion of you before your manager does. And they tell your manager — whether they mean to or not.

These are not personality traits. They are repeatable habits that your peers notice — in every meeting, every crisis, every ordinary Tuesday.

1
Green Flag 01Sensemaking
"Let me restate what we know and what we need to clarify." Makes confusion actionable for the whole group.
2
Green Flag 02Visible Follow-Through
"Done. Here's what I closed. Here's what's still pending." Closes loops — no one needs to chase.
3
Green Flag 03Emotional Steadiness
"Let's slow down. Are we solving the right problem?" Anchors the room when tension rises. Does not spiral.
4
Green Flag 04Context Framing
"Here's what changed and why it matters for us." Translates changes in terms of team impact — not just personal task status.
5
Green Flag 05Shared Credit
"This came from [colleague's] insight — I built on it." Signals maturity. Makes you genuinely safe to work with.
05
Module 5 · Session 3
Visibility
Without Noise
Most careers stall not for lack of skill — but because the value someone creates stays locked inside the work, invisible to the people who could recognize it. This module teaches you how to make your work travel without self-promotion.
❌ The Trap: Invisible Performer
"My work should speak for itself."

Work stays unseen because others cannot translate its impact. Talent is real. Recognition doesn't follow.

❌ The Other Trap: Over-Broadcaster
"I must make sure everyone knows what I did."

Attention rises briefly. Trust erodes over time. The room learns to discount what you say before you say it.

Substance + Signal = Trusted Visibility

When communicating your work — in messages, stand-ups, reviews, or 1:1s — express your contribution using these three elements. Every time.

C
Clarity
State the result simply — no jargon, no buildup, no context-free effort language
"Reduced API downtime by 25%."
C
Context
Explain why it mattered in the bigger picture — who it affected, what changed
"This cut customer wait time during peak hours."
C
Credit
Name who helped. It signals maturity, not dependency and it multiplies trust
"Thanks to Priya's early tests — we caught this before rollout."

Your work quality did not change. Only the translation did. Leaders manage outcomes — not hours.

✗   Noise — Effort Language
✓   Signal — Impact Language
"I stayed up all night fixing the dashboard."
"The dashboard reduces reporting time by 30%."
"I handled 50 customer tickets this week."
"Response time improved from 4 hours to 1 hour."
"I made 40 slides for the proposal."
"The proposal helped win the client renewal."
"I worked the weekend to ship it."
"The launch went live 2 days early, preventing downtime."

What people ask
before they enrol

Who is this course for?
The Foundation Course is designed for professionals who are doing good work but sensing that visibility, recognition, and growth aren't flowing the way effort alone should produce. It works equally well for professionals 1 year into their career or 12 years in — the frameworks are industry-agnostic and have been built from real-world workplace dynamics observed across global organizations. Tech, BFSI, pharma, consulting, data science, operations — if you work inside an organization, the power dynamics this course decodes apply to you.
Are sessions recorded?
Yes. All three live sessions are recorded and available for replay. Live attendance is strongly encouraged — the cohort dynamics, real-time activities, and peer interactions are a significant part of the program's value. But recordings are available so you never fall behind due to a work commitment or timezone constraint.
What is the Field Playbook?
The Field Playbook is a 7-page document you build progressively across all three sessions using your real organization, your real manager, and your real peer dynamics. It is not a case study exercise — it is a personalized career navigation document you will actually use. You leave Session 3 with all seven pages complete: Power Inventory, Influence Map, Manager Intelligence Brief, Peer Reputation Audit, Visibility Strategy, Self Reflection, and a 90-Day Influence Plan ready to execute.
Is EMI available?
Yes. EMI options are available at checkout via Razorpay and TagMango. You can view the available EMI plans at the time of payment.
Do I need the Explorer membership first?
Explorer is Stage 01 of the TatvaDrishti pathway and is the recommended entry point. However, you can enrol in the Foundation Course directly. Explorer members accumulate Influence Points redeemable against the Foundation Course fee — so Explorer first is always the more economical path.
What happens after the Foundation Course?
Foundation Course graduates receive an invitation to the Visionary Circle — Stage 03, free and by invitation only. The Visionary Circle includes monthly expert sessions with C-suite leaders and psychologists, twice-monthly de-stress sessions with Dr. Animesh, live power map reviews, peer accountability through the buddy system, and an Influence Points economy leading to the Sovereign Architect program.
What is the Sovereign Architect?
The Sovereign Architect is the capstone of the TatvaDrishti pathway — a self-paced, limited-cohort program for professionals ready to operate at the highest level of organizational influence. It decodes why competent professionals plateau while less skilled peers advance, and equips you with six research-grounded capabilities: mapping shadow hierarchies, building social capital, strategic visibility, elevational signaling, and opportunity engineering. Grounded in research from Stanford, Harvard, INSEAD, Wharton, and MIT and anchored by the Vidura Standard — it ensures every strategy serves both your advancement and your integrity.
